SICK OF IT ALL Celebrates 30 Years of World Dominance!
Posted on: July 23, 2016 @ 12:42 pm by Jö Schüftan
On Saturday, July 9th, legendary New York City Hardcore band SICK OF IT ALL celebrated their 30th anniversary as an active NYHC band!

Pulsating the ear drums of over 1,000 people were SOIA's idols and friends MURPHY'S LAW along with Boston's STREET DOGS, Honk Kong's KING LY CHEE and New York City's MANIPULATE!

While MURPHY'S LAW always bring an amazing vibe I got to say that they truly shine when playing bigger stages! And gotta love how frontman/comedian/carpenter of love, the iconic Jimmy Gestapo, took time during the band's set to make sure that all the little kids on stage are ready to keep carrying the torch!

Once the almighty SICK OF IT ALL took center stage, the adrenaline consumed the walls of Webster Hall (the old Ritz) and the Hardcore community once again rose to the occasion! It was also cool to see so many familiar faces enjoy a flawless concert at America's number 1 club.

So you're probably wondering how was SOIA's set?! If you've seen the band live you know that they don't take their career for granted (not even after 30 years) by making sure to always being on point and sending everyone home with a bruised neck and a huge smile!

It's pretty damn clear that what started at CBGB's as a bunch of kids using music as a weapon was very special and that the nasty urinals inspired bands like SOIA and MURPHY'S LAW to always keep it real!!!
