VISION OF DISORDER DOMINATES Long Island with the Help of MURPHY'S LAW, ZIRE'S WAR & DEMON RACER!
Posted on: November 19, 2015 @ 11:43 am by Jö Schüftan
This past Saturday, November 14, VISION OF DISORDER returned home to celebrate the release of their brand NEW album entitled Razed To The Ground (available on "Black Friday" worldwide via Candlelight Records)! This very special concert, which took place at Club Revolution in Amityville, New York, also featured the LEGENDARY MURPHY'S LAW and one of the best NEW bands in all of Heavy Music: ZIRE'S WAR (featuring Joey Z from LIFE OF AGONY, CARNIVORE and STEREOMUD)! Opening the concert was DEMON RACER.

Even though ZIRE'S WAR are still winning fans over since they are pretty NEW to the scene, they had about 200 hundred people head banging to their phenomenal groove oriented Heavy Metal that possesses the power of historical bands such as SEPULTURA and MACHINE HEAD! Seeing Joey Z step into the frontman role is so exciting and I got to say that he is doing a FANTASTIC job making sure that ZIRE'S WAR doesn't sound dated even though as mentioned above they do have old school roots.

Then it was time for MURPHY'S LAW to deliver their amazing blend of Hardcore, Punk Rock, Ska and Reggae! In other words, PARTY MUSIC! While I have seen MURPHY'S LAW many times, recently the band is sounding tighter than ever and while some frontmen tend to lose their energy level when they reach a mature age, Jimmy Gestapo always brings with him an overdose of energy, and beers of course, along with some of the funniest stage rants out there! But make no mistake, while MURPHY'S LAW are a real fun band but don't think for a second that they don't take their musical craft very seriously!

Once it was time for VISION OF DISORDER to bring their hometown crowd even more real deal Heavy Music, the entire venue got packed tight and the adrenaline along with plenty of beers kept flowing around! Lead by one of the best vocalists in all of Heavy Music, I am talking about Tim WIlliams who is sounding better than ever thanks to the fact that he is living a very happy and sober life, VOD played one hell of a set that contained some NEW music from both Razed To The Ground and The Cursed Remain Cursed along with classic songs from the "Green" album, Imprint and For The Bleeders!

While the band is in a much better place nowadays since they have full control over their band, they are still playing their awesome blend of angry music with plenty of rage and attitude. And while Matt Baumbach is missed on stage this has really helped Mike Kennedy to become an even better musician! And with Brendon Cohen on drums and Michael Fleischmann on bass, VOD proved that they are ready for their NEW album cycle in which once again they will be calling all of their shots so they never again lose focus on their musical mission!
