In the last five years I have been very lucky to come across NEW bands that have ended up infecting my ear drums for life! A band that definitely delivers plenty of musical disease without mercy, is THY ART IS MURDER!

This Blacktown, Australia-based Deathcore band stands out from the rabid pack full of hungry underground bands because they play their blend of Metal as hard as humanly possible! They are definitey not reinventing the steel, they are the steel! THY ART IS MURDER is the type of band that only requires a few seconds to infect every single member of the audience, and it doesn't hurt that they are not afraid to be complete goof balls. Having a balance between a great product and an excellent live show is the key to success in today's Heavy Music world, and TAIM possesses that balance.

The band - Sean Delander, Lee Stanton, Chris "CJ" McMahon, Andy Marsh and Kevin Butler - was formed in 2006 and ever since then they have been breaking musical borders while achieving the loyalty of true Heavy Metal fans that like their music exciting, energetic and smart. Their influences range from CANNIBAL CORPSE to BEHEMOTH to THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, ultimately creating music that is built for the stage. Their sound is defined by a huge groove that shakes your soul and distorted drop tuning that penetrates your ears.

Once in a while an "it" band arrives in the Heavy Music scene and becomes the band that everyone is praising, in 2015 THY ART IS MURDER is that band! Don't believe me? Listen to their NEW album entitled Holy War (available now via Nuclear Blast Records) and you will definitely find music that stimulates your Metallic senses!

In their own words:

"We're more of a Death Metal band, and we love breakdowns. I guess that makes for a Deathcore band. Everyone else [other deathcore bands] seem to have dropped off, there's not really that many others. The ones that are still around, they're not like us."

- Lee Stanton: Drums
- Andy Marsh and Sean Delander: Guitars
- CJ McMahon: Vocals
- Kevin Butler: Bass
