"It does not matter what you look like, it does not matter how many records you sold, it is supposed to come down to how great the songs are there is one band where every song on every record is great: That band is The Beatles."

Picking CONVERGE as our band of the week only makes sense right? After all, CONVERGE have been one of the most consistent bands in the music. They are also a band that have been constantly growing (not maturing) and have never let anything get in their way when it comes to dominating the Heavy Music stratosphere.

Ever since they arrived to the scene in 1990, CONVERGE have kept true to their musical vision and have always managed to produce albums that are signature sound based and definitely timeless. Their live shows are legendary thanks to the intensity and ferociousness that they deliver time and time again regardless of the type of stage they find themselves on.

On their latest album entitled All We Love We Leave Behind, one of their heaviest records ever, CONVERGE pushed the envelope to see how fast they could get, the band as usual stayed true to their signature sound while adding NEW sounds and rhythms that keep the listener hooked from beginning to end.

In times in which we are all wondering what is going to happen to Heavy Music once Black Sabbath, Slayer, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Metallica call it a day, CONVERGE is still here and are keeping the present and the future of Metal rising stronger than all!

CONVERGE is:

- Jacob Bannon
- Kurt Ballou
- Nate Newton
- Ben Koller
