"A guitar player goes on the road and he misses his girlfriend for a while but he manages to get along. A horn player gets out on the road, plays two or three towns, and then he will get lonely, and next thing you know, he is packed up and left... it is better not to hire him in the first place."

They say that "the more things change, the more they stay the same". When it comes to AGNOSTIC FRONT's NEW studio album entitled The American Dream Died (available on April 4 (Europe) and April 7 (N. America) via Nuclear Blast Records), this famous quote can be applied both positively and negatively to what the band's mission in 2015 is. Let me explain…

While on their eleventh studio album AGNOSTIC FRONT did introduce some NEW musical elements to their super established brand of real American LEGENDARY Hardcore, there is no question that they never forget their musical roots and that they are proud to always carry the flag of a Heavy Music genre that is often misunderstood and disrespected by way too MANY music "experts". But make no mistake, AGNOSTIC FRONT don't need to impress anybody but their loyal fanatics, which is ultimately why The American Dream Died is a Hardcore record that includes smart angrily delivered lyrics that are somewhat political, plenty of crunchy guitar riffs, and loads of groove ala BAD BRAINS.

Since AGNOSTIC FRONT knows what's at stake every time they release a NEW batch of music, once again they recruited Freddy Cricien from MADBALL to produce the record and Paul Miner (TERROR, H2O, ATREYU, DEATH BY STEREO, ETC.,) to engineer the album at Buzzbomb Sound Labs in Orange, California. This "dream team" ultimately delivered the masses a Hardcore record that ANY Heavy Music fan can lose their mind to.

It is because of a band like AGNOSTIC FRONT that Hardcore is now a worldwide movement, which has definitely been benefited by the globalization of underground music. While the band has been affected by low record sales due to music piracy (just like every band out there), the Internet has helped their music reach every single inch of planet Earth. Wherever there is pain and suffering, there is a kid that gets turned on by Heavy Music as an escape from reality. Chances are that when AGNOSTIC FRONT comes to your hometown that you and your buddies will become diehard fans.

If you like Heavy to the bone Music, pick up The American Dream Died and go see the band live! In 2015, it's refreshing that AGNOSTIC FRONT are still going strong and creating music that is exciting and very punishing! Get The American Dream Died here
